The Motherhood University, Roorkee, intends to strengthen contemporary knowledge of the agricultural science to develop a strong and efficient manpower that would cater to the needs of the rural areas in particular and the society at large.
To strengthen this, Motherhood University is fully determined in employing highly qualified faculties and assigning target to develop human resources, innovative and need based technologies and their dissemination so as to serve the rural masses especially farming community of this area in particular.
With the modernization of agriculture and changing scenario influenced by open market economy, there is an urgent need to develop a dynamic and innovative education programme in agricultural science.
Motherhood University offers a four year Honors Degree Programme in B.Sc. (Agriculture). After successful completions of course work, the students undergo 135-140 working days on live project in rural areas under the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE). Under this programme, students’ primarily understand the rural situation and status of agricultural technologies adopted by farmers’. University organizes students’ Field visits to Progressive Farmers field, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, State Agricultural Universities, National Research Centers and Laboratories etc.
The eligibility criteria for admission to any of the academic programmes shall be as mentioned below:
